I joined Hub pages by chance and am throughly enjoying writing and exploring and learning about others of interest. I was born in NJ, grew up in Miami and lived for 17 years in northern Californian and am now living in Tallahassee, Florida.

It would be fair to say, 'I left my heart in San Francisco' but contrary to popular belief, it is not always 90+ degrees in Tally (we actually have a winter), nothing kills the fire ants, no matter the season, and everyone here is either a Seminole or a Gator. I fall into the later group, as I am the proud mother of a 'Gator' daughter who graduated from UF.

After a lifetime of living with my daughter's cats I am now the proud owner of the sweetest dog ever and a confirmed dog lover for life. When I'm not working, I spend time helping my daughter plan her wedding, try to tame our wild 3 acres of overgrown shrubs, write, cook, travel, and enjoy life with my husband.
